Euro Vision Song Contest
So fans can watch the finale live via stream or on TV

On Saturday, with the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, what is probably the biggest music event in the world will take place again. This is offered in stream and TV.
Saturday is once again dedicated to the Eurovision Song Contest. This year, the finale of what is probably the biggest music show in the world will take place on May 14th. ESC fans can be there live on TV or via stream when the countries compete in the entertainment competition in Turin. The party starts early in the evening – and lasts until late at night.
The preliminary program
ONE starts with a look back at extraordinary ESC moments. From 6:45 p.m., the ARD station will show the 45-minute program “Spectacular and weird – Best of Eurovision Song Contest” on TV. Fans stream the particularly memorable ESC performances from the past 20 years alternatively via the ARD media library.
Immediately afterwards, ONE will broadcast “Heimliche Hits” from 7:30 p.m. It’s about songs since 1969, with which acts like Dschinghis Khan, Guildo Horn (59) and Stefan Raab (55) didn’t win the Eurovision Song Contest, but which are still unforgotten.
With the “Warm-up with Alina & Stefan” on “eurovision.de” Instead, spectators can prepare directly for the final from 7:00 p.m. with Alina Stiegler and Stefan Spiegel. And if you want to find out more about the German ESC contribution, you can see the documentary “Malik im ESC fever” there from 7:45 p.m. The documentary accompanies Malik Harris (24) from Landsberg am Lech, who will be involved in 2022 with his song “Rockstars”, on his way from the preliminary decision to the final.
The final
Viewers then really start the evening from 8:15 p.m. in the first, on ONE, in the media center and on “eurovision.de”. Barbara Schöneberger (48) receives the presenter and ESC fan Thomas Hermanns (59) in the “Countdown for Turin” and prepares for the final. Among others, the singers Max Giesinger (33) and Johnny Logan (67) will also be there. Harris should also be switched on before he goes on stage a little later.
Fans will then be able to follow the “Finale from Turin” live from 9:00 p.m. at the contact points just mentioned and via Deutsche Welle. The motto of the ESC this time is “The Sound of Beauty”. In addition to the acts in the competition, last year’s winners Maneskin will also perform and perform a medley. The mega show is moderated by the Italian singer Laura Pausini (47), moderator Alessandro Cattelan (42) and the singer Mika (38). ESC legend Peter Urban (74) will comment.
The aftermath
After that, Schöneberger will probably take over again live on Erste, on ONE, in the media center and on “eurovision.de” from 12:50 a.m. She looks back on the highlights of the evening in the “Aftershow” and will also speak to Harris again.
Anyone who missed the spectacle or would like to see it again will find the “Countdown”, the finale and the “Aftershow” in the media center for a whole year after the broadcast. The final can also be seen again on Sunday from 9.40 a.m. on One. In “Sekt oder Selters? The ESC breakfast television with Alina & Stefan” Stiegler and Spiegel will talk about the previous evening from 12:00 p.m.
Incidentally, ZDF is also in ESC fever. In the “ZDF TV Garden” on Sunday from 11:50 a.m. everything will revolve around Italy and the Eurovision Song Contest. Andrea Kiewel (56) and Riccardo Simonetti (29) welcome Urban and Logan as well as reigning pizza world champion Crescenzo Capuozzo.
