Eurowings wants to fly “probably in August” with the first Airbus A321 Neo

In June and July, five more Airbus A321 Ceos will strengthen the fleet of the Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings. Eurowings is planning the first A321 Neo for the month after that.

“We expect the first two A321 Neo in the course of the third quarter of 2023, so that they can then be used in flight operations promptly after the technical upgrade has been completed,” said a Eurowings spokesman in February about the new model for the airline.

The schedule is now more precise. The first Airbus A321 Neo for Eurowings will take off “probably in August”, the Lufthansa subsidiary announced on Tuesday (June 6). Eurowings will put further A321 Ceo into service before that.

Eurowings: “Three more A321 Ceos will follow in June, and then two more A321 Ceos in July.”

With flight EW9630 from Düsseldorf to Rhodes, the first A321 Ceo took off in Eurowings’ scheduled service last Saturday (3 June). “Three more A321 Ceos will follow in June, and then two more A321 Ceos in July,” the airline said.
