(CercleFinance.com) – Eutelsat Communications announces that it has been selected by Orby Elevate for direct-to-home (DTH) broadcasting of its first English-language consumer audiovisual services across the United States via the EUTELSAT 117 West satellite AT.
Orby Elevate offers all of its subscribers present in the United States a range of audiovisual services for both secular and denominational purposes.
Eutelsat says its EUTELSAT 117 West A satellite is based on state-of-the-art technology capable of providing hemispheric coverage in the C and Ku bands, as well as high-power regional Ku-band coverage over the Americas North and South America.
“We are seizing a tremendous opportunity to leverage the existing infrastructure previously deployed around the initial release of Orby, as well as the unrivaled coverage of the powerful EUTELSAT 117 West A satellite to deliver a platform for delivering family-friendly content across the ‘the whole of the United States, and at an affordable cost,’ commented Ricardo Dias, Interim General Manager of Orby Elevate.
