PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Satellite operator Eutelsat is about to strike an agreement to merge with British company OneWeb, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Saturday.
Eutelsat is set to take control of OneWeb in a deal that could be announced on Monday, Reuters reported on Sunday.
Contacted by the agency Agefi-Dow Jones, a spokeswoman for OneWeb did not comment while a spokeswoman for Eutelsat was not immediately available.
Eutelsat already owns 22.9% of the capital of OneWeb, which is developing a high-speed Internet access service covering regions not served by terrestrial connections.
