(CercleFinance.com) – Eutelsat announces the signing of a partnership between Eutelsat OneWeb and Paratus South Africa, a major player in specialized connectivity services already offering services in geostationary orbit (GEO) as part of the long-established partnership with Eutelsat Group.
Through this new partnership, Paratus will be able to expand its satellite connectivity service offering through a joint GEO/LEO service offering targeting customers located in the most remote regions of South Africa.
As part of this new partnership, Eutelsat OneWeb services will be integrated into the large Paratus fiber network which covers more than 20,000 km of territory in sub-Saharan Africa in order to enable the latter to offer its customers exclusive solutions. ‘particularly efficient’ in the field of connectivity.
