Eva Green has decided to file a complaint against a production company. She claims no less than 918,000 euros.
In 2019, Eva Green was to embark on a brand new project: the film A Patriotwhich evokes the climate crisis. But now the filming of this feature film is canceled by the production company. Since the actress claims her stamp, namely 918,000 euros. And since things are not going her way, she decided to file a complaint against the company. But on the side of the producer, the accusations fuse. Thus, on January 30, Eva Green is expected to take the stand. The production company accuses him of having wanted to sabotage the shooting of the film. She would then have made “unreasonable demands”. The lawyers for the opposing party indicate that the actress would have made people feel “a lack of confidence and dissatisfaction” towards production.
Eva Green would have even sent messages in which she qualifies a member of the team as “diabolical”, of “sneaky sociopath” and of “liar and crazy”. She also allegedly insulted the production manager, Terry Bird, of “dumbass” and of “asshole finished”. The actress’s lawyers denounce a desire to pass her off as a “diva” in order to “to make headlines and damage her reputation. She repeatedly agreed to postpone the start of filming. She agreed to have production moved from Ireland to the UK. She repeatedly offered to ‘use part of his fees to fund production costs’.
The actress’ lawyer fights back
For the actress’ lawyer, the production company wants “blacken the name of an actress who has not breached a contract or missed a day on set in a 20-year career”.
