Actress Eva Longoria focused all the lenses on her this weekend during her visit to La Croisette, for the Cannes Film Festival. The American star seen in different outfits, each more sumptuous than the last, was honored during a very special ceremony.
Californians in Los Angeles can admire the Walk of Fame; in Cannes we talk about the Path of the Stars. Inspired by the American concept, the organizers of the Cannes Film Festival and the municipality of the commune of Alpes-Maritimes worked together on the design of an “honorary walk” dedicated to film stars along the Mediterranean coast, from the square in front of the Palais des Festivals. Over the years, it has become one of the town’s tourist hotspots, due to the prestigious personalities who appear there. In fact, on La Croisette we find numerous casts of autograph names and handprints inserted in cement slabs, including those of the French Catherine Deneuve, Luc Besson Gérard Depardieu and Jean-Paul Belmondo.

The actress and director walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival several times last week, notably to attend the screening of the film Emilia Perez by Jacques Audiard, in competition, alongside singer Selena Gomez in the cast. For the occasion, she wore a sculptural slit dress that attracted a lot of attention. Previously, she was acclaimed in a sequin dress with an ultra-plunging neckline.
Eva Longoria teases the return of Desperate Housewives
Like every year, Eva Longoria was present for the Global Gift Gala organized on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival to collect donations for underprivileged families. This charity event took place on the evening of May 19 on La Croisette in the presence of numerous personalities including Amandine Petit (Miss France 2021), Natasha St-Pier – winner of Dancing with the Stars 13 -, Richard Orlinski and Christina Milian, who agreed to replace Kendji Girac at short notice. The singer was indeed scheduled to perform on stage that evening, but due to his long convalescence following his dramatic accident last month he was unable to perform live as he had done in the past.
