For Télé 7 jours, Evelyne Dhéliat spoke about her future. She gave her opinion on her future retirement.
She is undeniably the most famous weather presenter in France. At 74, Evelyne Dhéliat still officiates on TF1 to the delight of viewers. But is she planning to retire today? The presenter wanted to make things clear during her interview for TV 7 days. And one thing is certain: she knows very well what she wants. “Work is a balance in my life. And then at TF1, we work in exceptional conditions, quality is at the center of our vocation.
Thus Evelyne Dhéliat confides that she is fulfilled in her work: “As long as I am happy to get up in the morning to go to the office. I don’t see why I would deprive myself of it. I don’t really feel like I have my age that I don’t think about retiring at all. My boss in the information department, Thierry Thuillier, told the press that I was still there for a long time. So why should I be upset?” she asks, laughing .

And then Evelyne Dhéliat is so happy to find the viewers, that she would not be arrested: “The exchange I have with the public is genuine and sincere, and I think they feel it. I hope so anyway. It brings me balance, and it’s also the best way to stay true to oneself (…) I would have loved to be a journalist, but, in 68, women in this profession were confined to women’s magazines, to the knitting or cooking sections. Sometimes, I think to myself that I might have Being able to present a 1pm or 8pm news, but I probably arrived too early. It doesn’t matter. It’s what allowed me to have this long career.“Thus, the weather presenter does not see herself hanging up her maps of France yet!
