Everspace 2: a release date and a Stellar Edition for the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S versions

Unveiled during the gamescom 2019, Everspace 2 was entitled to a phase ofEarly Access on PC, where it has already been upgraded to version 1.0 last April. Rockfish Games still wants to bring its space action role-playing game to home consoles, and good news, the wait won’t be very long.

The developers announce that Everspace 2 release date set for August 15, 2023 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The studio recalls that the title has already sold more than 350,000 copies on PC, where it has an 88% satisfaction rate on Steam. On the Playstation Storepre-orders are already open with 20% off, we will find features for the controller DualSense with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and speaker, while Xbox Series X|S players will be able to experience Everspace 2 via the Xbox Game Pass upon its release on consoles, with support for the Play Anywhere. Michael Schade, CEO of Rockfish Gamescomments:

With space adventure games garnering more attention than ever, we’re excited to bring Everspace 2 to all-new audiences on Xbox and PlayStation in August. The two years in Early Access for the PC launch have served us well in preparing for our console release, and we’ve used the last few months well to polish an already solid foundation. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 players will be able to explore the star systems of Everspace 2 in 60 frames per second when it releases later this summer.
