Released in early access in January 2021, Everspace 2 will finally see the light of day on April 9, 2023. On the other hand, only the PC version will be released on this date. For the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions, you will have to be patient and wait until summer 2023.
Everspace 2 is a space shooter that mixes exploration and role-playing elements. The story takes place in an open world full of secrets but also dangers. Exploration will lead you to discover unknown alien races and many buried treasures. But you will have to call on all your piloting and improvisation skills to hope to get your hands on elite equipment and above all come out of it alive.
After six major content updates during the two years of early access, the title will of course benefit from new content for its 1.0 launch. Along with new enemies, gear, challenges, and rewards, players will gain access to an alternate star system as well as an additional Companion.
