Everybody’s Golf: no one will play golf online anymore, the closure of servers announced

sony has long offered golf games on its playstationup to Everybody’s Golf in 2017. The episode celebrating the 20th anniversary of the license has been available on PlayStation 4 for a few years, but players will soon have to do without all online features.

Eh yes, sony has just announced the closure of Everybody’s Golf servers, which will be cut on September 30, 2022. After this date, you will have to do without online multiplayer modes, tournaments and all the features online. Warning, from Trophies can no longer be unlocked on October 1stthus preventing to obtain the Platinum of the game, so Achievement Hunters still have a few months to complete this challenge. Everybody’s Golf VR doesn’t seem concerned about the shutdown of the servers (yet).

Everybody’s Golf online servers will shut down on September 30, 2022. All online features (such as online multiplayer modes) will disappear on that date. You will be able to continue playing using offline single player modes.

As reminded sony on store page, it will of course still be possible to play Everybody’s Golf solo offline after the servers shut down. You can find the game at €33.99 on Amazon.
