Andor season 2, is it over?
For the past few months, there has been a massive strike by screenwriters demanding better pay equity and, more broadly, better pay. If it was already very problematic for the shooting of films and series, for 1 week it has been the turn of the actors to strike through the intermediary of SAG-AFTRA which is an American professional union that represents more than 160,000 actors, extras, and media professionals. In short, with them many headliners strike in support of screenwriters but also to fight against the use of artificial intelligence in the professions. Because some unscrupulous studios want to digitally clone the actors to use them indefinitely, which is the straw that breaks the camel’s back. You have understood that this greatly hinders the filming of season 2 of star wars andor which finds itself totally blocked and on hold.
Season 2 of ANDOR was interrupted a few weeks before the end of filming, the studio having decided not to compensate the actors and writers fairly, which led to numerous strikes.
