Everything you need for a well organized wardrobe

In this particular period of confinement, and with the arrival of the beautiful days, it is the occasion where never to restore order in our cupboards and to sort our clothes. Spring storage sessions also start with an organized dressing room, carefully folded clothes and well-thought-out spaces. Here are our tips!

The tendency to accumulate clothes? We are probably a lot to be the victim … Over time and the seasons, our closet can look like a heap of scattered and crumpled outfits!
However, with a few accessories and well-appointed spaces, it is quite possible to have a well-organized dressing room, and one that remains for the whole year. And promised, even the most resistant to storage will be delighted!
No more headaches in the morning to find the pair of sandals that goes with the right shirt.

1 – Separate the summer and winter wardrobe wisely

With each big change of season, it is advisable to put aside the clothes which you are not going to wear for several months. To do this, start with intelligent sorting. Warm clothes, sweaters, scarves and puffer jackets, as well as opaque tights: at the bottom of the cupboards, or on the highest shelves.
If you have a fairly deep dressing room, you can install two rods, and hang the seasonal clothes on the front row.

Adjustable extendable wardrobe rod, € 9.95

2 – Sort clothes by categories

Blouses, dresses and skirts on hangers:
As for our blouses and dresses, the best is to hang them on hangers. This helps to avoid wrinkling them. There are different types of hangers, suitable for closets of different sizes.

If you have a small dressing room, the best is to opt for flat hangers, which are a considerable space saving:
Lot of 50 rigid and non-slip hangers, € 28.99

If you have room, bet on wooden hangers. They hold clothes better and give character and style to all closets:
Lot of 32 swivel maple wooden hangers, € 35.99

For skirts and possibly your suits, equip yourself with clip hangers:
Lot of 12 hangers with wooden clips, € 19.99

3 – Put the other clothes in boxes

We quickly tend to pile up pants, T-shirts and underwear and not find the one we are looking for at the right time …
advice : roll your clothes the way you want Marie Kondo, so as not to crease them and have them all at hand, then line them up in boxes. For example, a box for sports leggings, a box for underwear, another for jeans, etc.

Our recommendations :

Set of 3 beige fabric storage, € 25.99

Set of 6 storage boxes for underwear, € 16.14

4- Install the shoes on shelves

Poorly arranged shoes can quickly give the impression of a very messy dressing room.
The ideal solution is to opt for a closed cabinet dedicated to hunting (especially if you are a shoes addict). If on the other hand you run out of space, a small wooden or metal shelf can do the trick and be placed next to your closet.

Shoe storage organizer, € 46.99

3-level shelf with bench, € 53.99

5 – Choose coat racks for jackets, bags and scarves

What do we do with the rest of our clothes? Our summer jackets, winter scarves and handbags? They are hung on a stylish and carefully chosen coat rack. We avoid going out at the same time, and we leave out of the wardrobe only those that we use daily so as not to accumulate on the coat rack.
Our suggestions:

Raw wood wall hook, € 19.89
