Everywhere: a crisp trailer for MindsEye, a GTA-like included in the creative game that wants to compete with Fortnite

Whether Fortnite became the ogre he is today step by step, until the arrival this week of theUnrealEditor which will make it possible to create even more interactive experiences, Everywhere wants to walk on its toes as soon as it is released. The first game of Build a Rocket Boystudio led by the former director on the series GTA Leslie Benzies, indeed wants to become A open-world giving access to adventures at gameplay differentwhether it’s action, adventure, racing and much more.

The concept was still unclear, but is starting to take shape thanks to an overview offered by VideoGamesChroniclewho was able to visit the premises of the company. Everywhere, will be “a new platform that offers a world of endless possibilities, where you can be whoever you want and forge your own path”. It will consist ofa social center called Utopia, surrounded by different biomes such as a plain, a volcano or a canyon, and giving access to different districts offering different play and creation options. For example there will be A Racing District for running, and a Combat District third-person action-orientedA Entertainment District with a cinema, a nightclub, an art gallery, and other sections destined to evolve over time.

Do-it-yourselfers can create and share combat and racing experiences via ARC-adiaa suite of in-game toolsin a district nicknamed The Collection. In addition to individual components, groups of objects can also be grouped together in the form of “stamps”, to be saved and shared with other players to facilitate their creations.

A door to the universe also gives access At Game Lobbywhich will obviously contain full games exclusively accessible via Everywhere. For example, we find today MindsEye, a narrative experience in several chaptersinitially in single player then in multiplayer, at the gameplay action-oriented which is reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto. The elements used by BARB to design MindsEye will also be made available to players for their creations. The first trailer in any case makes you want, the developers clearly displaying their ambition to propose a AAA in a AAA.

Despite his innovative ideas, Build a Rocket Boy assures him, he wants nothing to do with the blockchainTHE Web3 or cryptocurrencies. It has otherwise been said that the soundtrack will be polished withaudio tracing and licensed music, that there will be a premium version and another free-to-play (with what content?), that the virtual currency will be used in particular to buy Stamps and cosmetic items, and that there would be no improvement to the gameplay paying so no pay-to-win.

Everywhere therefore promises to be an attractive community platform, with more realistic graphics than Minecraft, Roblox and company, and also giving access to pre-designed games that have nothing to envy to the greatest. A future reference? We’ll find out soon, because the title is always planned in Early Access on PC by the end of 2023with obviously already a part of MindsEye at launch.
