Eviction carried out – Time has run out for Gnadenhof Bozenau

For many years there was a dispute between Rudi Längle, who ran his sanctuary in Doren for years, and the landlords, the Dreher family. As early as 2016, Längle filed a lawsuit for eviction. But then nothing happened. Until yesterday – when the Bozenau estate was evacuated by the courts. In the past few days, Längle has apparently been able to accommodate dozens of animals elsewhere, some, mostly older, four-legged friends, but stayed behind in Bozenau. “These are now professionally looked after until new places are found for them,” confirms Ekkehard Bechtold, attorney for the tenants. In this matter, the various state agencies are also working together – always in compliance with animal welfare regulations.
