EVO 2022, PlayStation, NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon
While many announcements seem planned on the side of SNK, Capcom or Arc System Works, NetherRealm Studios comes to calm the expectations of its fans.
Although PlayStation is covering EVO 2022 which will take place from August 5-7, Ed Boon, Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios and head of Mortal Kombat, came calm fan expectations.
If Warner Bros. Games Studios is one of the publishers cited by PlayStation at the announcement of its special EVO 2022 livestream, it seems that the announcements concern MultiVersus and not Mortal Kombat as our colleagues from IGN had titled: “The devs behind Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken and Guilty Gear are expected to make announcements at Evo 2022“.
Ed Boon himself came to clarify things by assuring that the Mortal Komba franchiset had nothing to announce for the moment and that it was an opportunity to enjoy other fighting games.
