Ex-Raiffeisen boss – Pierin Vincenz: “I haven’t done anything illegal” – News

  • After eight days of negotiations, the Zurich Raiffeisen process has come to an end.
  • The former Raiffeisen boss Pierin Vincenz emphasized in his closing remarks that he “did nothing illegal”.
  • Vincenz said at the end of the process that he was aware that he had also made mistakes in his twenty years at Raiffeisen.

“Sometimes I exaggerated,” said Vincenz. But he can assure that he never did anything with the intention of damaging Raiffeisen and Aduno. He is therefore demanding an acquittal.

The Zurich public prosecutor’s office accuses ex-Raiffeisen boss Vincenz and his business colleague Beat Stocker of fraud, among other things. The ex-Raiffeisen boss is also accused of taking private expenses on business expenses.

The indictment lists, among other things, visits to cabarets and strip clubs for a total of CHF 200,000 and private trips for CHF 250,000. The verdict against the former Raiffeisen boss and the six co-accused will be opened on April 13 in the theater in Zurich’s Volkshaus.
