The huge Iron Man single-player game planned for PS5, Xbox Series
Motive Studios, which developed Dead Space Remake, Battlefront 2 single-player and Star Wars Squadrons, is already back in business. And the least we can say is that Electronic Arts has great confidence in this team. The studio has recently been co-opted to help create Battlefield 7. Given Motive’s pedigree, this should be beneficial for the future BF7 campaign. But at the same time, the developers are also assigned to a new Iron Man game.
EA Motive Studios’ Iron Man game is doing very well
The next Iron Man title could very well have been overlooked. Earlier this year, Electronic Arts laid off 670 employees, and also changed its initial plans. The Mandalorian game was canceled, and the publisher announced that it no longer wanted to manage licensed software. Translation: the company obviously wants to move away from franchises like Star Wars or Marvel. But ultimately, EA is less radical and won’t throw all the developers’ work into the trash. Marvel’s Iron Man will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. When ? According to a rumor that is starting to date, a launch in 2025 is perhaps not far-fetched.
Patrick Klaus, general manager at Motive Studios, commented on the fact that his teams will support DICE on Battlefield 7, while continuing work on Iron Man. A project which, according to the man, is making excellent progress and which reached an important milestone during the last quarter.

So it’s progressing well, very well even, but it’s not yet the time to release images. Marvel’s Iron Man will be a third-person action game, with a new story around Tony Stark.
