As the Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information (Dila) unambiguously indicates: “Commercial canvassing platforms will no longer be able to call you from numbers starting with 06 or 07, associated in everyone’s mind with mobile phones”.
And that’s not all, since, as indicated by the change in law ratified by Arcep on September 1, 2022, marketers can no longer use regional codes, which are the prefixes from 01 to 05. which, moreover, will soon lose their regional character and can be assigned at random to all the telephone lines in the territory.
Avoid 06 and 07 burnout
So that in the end, any cold calling can only be done from a number in 08 or 09. And as Dila adds: “These numbers in 09 can also be used to send messages from a commercial brand to its customers, or for special contacts (delivery of parcels, signaling the arrival of a VTC driver, appointment reminder you automated, etc.)”.
