What is this Samsung smartphone?
The Galaxy A54 is a mid-range smartphone that has a classic design. Its very good finishes nevertheless give it a little premium air, in particular its glass back which can make you think of a more high-end model. Its dimensions of 158.2 × 76.7 × 8.2 mm and a weight of 200 g allow a good grip. The buttons are conveniently placed and easily accessible, and even the smallest hands will feel comfortable handling the A54.
It features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Amoled panel, with a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels and a variable refresh rate between 60 and 120 Hz. The smartphone delivers good brightness, but is still very sensitive to reflections, especially in direct sunlight. However, the screen remains readable and you can take photos without difficulty. The 50 megapixel sensor allows you to take pictures with good sharpness, day or night.
Is this Samsung smartphone a good deal at this price?
Less than €380 is a very good deal for a smartphone with excellent value for money. The A54 features the Exynos 1380 processor, coupled with 8 GB of RAM. Applications run smoothly, including video games. You won’t be able to push the graphics all the way, but everything runs without slowdowns, and the smartphone only heats up if it is pushed to the limit. The user experience is pleasant under One Ui 5 based on Android 13.
Finally, the Galaxy A54 will easily last a day or two, depending on your usage. It takes 1 hour 30 minutes to recharge the 5,000 mAh battery.
