Exchange-traded bond Volatility soars after Barclays suspends share issuance








Shares of an exchange-traded bond that tracks volatility soared to a nearly 10-month high on Tuesday, a day after Britain’s Barclays bank said it had suspended the sale and issuance of the bonds due to capacity constraints.

Shares of the ETN iPath Series B S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures were up 38.1% at $39.8, on course for its biggest one-day rise in 21 months.
