EXCLUDED. Anne-Claire Coudray: why the war in Ukraine touches her very closely

The war in Ukraine has been in the headlines for a month. Dramatic news that particularly affects Anne-Claire Coudray, the presenter of the JT of TF1 on the weekend, as she confided in the columns of Télé Star.

Since February 24, the conflict that broke out in Ukraine made the headlines in France, but also in the world. A war thatAnne-Claire Coudray evokes very regularly when it presents the newspaper of TF1 the weekend. And the ex-reporter does not hide that he sometimes wants to abandon his chair as a presenter to to rejoin fieldas she revealed in the columns of TV Star. “I often itch to take the plane, especially since I have lots of friends who have left”, she explains. His family also covers the conflict: My cameraman brother-in-law also went to Ukraine (Editor’s note: he works for C dans l’air, like Anne-Claire Coudray’s sister, Elsa, journalist).”

The TF1 journalist even confides that she is afraid for her loved ones: I found myself really looking forward to him coming home. To say that at the time, when my mother told me not to take too many risks, I was annoyed by this kind of reflection”, she smiles. But for the moment, there is no question for Anne-Claire Coudray to fly to Ukraine. Unlike France 2, which has relocated its newspaper to the country, this is not in TF1’s plans. We no longer relocate directly in recent years, it is very expensive. There really has to be added value”explains Amalia’s mother.

Anne-Claire Coudray: “I myself had trouble continuing to lead a normal life”

If TF1 does not relocate its newspapers, this does not prevent the first channel from obtaining good results in the hearings. That of Anne-Claire Coudray indeed beat a new recordon February 27, by bringing together 7.3 million viewers. A good score that the journalist explains in particular by the news. According to her, the “stunned” of the French faced with the war that broke out, led them to turn on their television in order to understand what was happening. We all transfer. I myself had a hard time continuing to lead a normal life. These people had, a few weeks ago, the same lives as uschildren wearing the same anoraks as ours… Seeing him walk the roads by the million was a real shock.”
