EXCLUDED. Émilie eliminated from Koh-Lanta, Immunity Hunters: “It was a stupid move to search Alicia’s bag”

Tuesday March 12 on TF1, Émilie was eliminated by the reds in Koh-Lanta, the Immunity Hunters. For Télé Star, she looks back on her adventure.

Télé Star: What pushed you to submit your candidacy to Koh Lanta ?

Emilie : I had wanted to participate for a long time but my children were little and their father did not want to be alone with them. He also didn’t want to be in the media, neither him nor the children, so I waited. Now the kids are older and I’m separated, so I gave it a go!

What aspect of the adventure was the most difficult for you?

It was complicated having to make friends with everyone. This year, there were very strong characters and it wasn’t easy to get along!

During the adventure, you searched the bagAlicia to see if she had an immunity collar. Why did you take this risk knowing that it would be frowned upon by other adventurers?

I was with Cécile and Julie. At one point, Cécile said “We’ll still have to make sure Alicia doesn’t have a collar.” She really wasn’t reassured, so I told myself I was going to do it! The three of us got out of the water and Julie and Cécile kept watch while I watched. Honestly, I put my hand in the bag for two seconds. Even if she had a necklace, I don’t think I would have even felt it!

This gesture precipitated your elimination. Do you regret doing it?

Of course ! I regretted it almost immediately because it’s not a gesture that’s like me. Besides, it was a stupid gesture because even if the rules don’t prohibit it, it was of no use to me. I wasn’t even in the hot seat. It was either Alicia or Julie at that point, so I had no interest in doing it. Afterwards, I didn’t think it would come out so early in the adventure. I didn’t think Julie would talk about it, given that she was complicit, but in hindsight, I tell myself that it was strategic on her part. She talked about it in such a way that it turned against me.

Your disagreement with Léa also precipitated your exit…

Yes, and my opinion remains the same on Léa. The truth is that she brought a bad atmosphere to the camp. Whether with me, with David or with Cécile, the quarrels started with her. By talking here and there, perhaps by looking for someone to trust, she created animosities. Before his arrival, there was a great atmosphere among the reds!

Did you expect to have so many votes against you?

Yes. I still had hope that my alliance wouldn’t turn against me or that Ricky would give me his necklace, but I knew there was a good chance that I would leave.

How do you experience this departure so early in the game?

Very bad ! In life, I am a competitor and I succeed in everything I do. I saw myself going far, without boasting. I had the physical capacity, I wasn’t hungry, I wasn’t tired, so I had a very bad time leaving so early. I think I could have brought a lot to my team and perhaps shine as an individual!

Do you have a regret?

Yes, I regret having made strategies that were too flashy. I think I should have been more discreet at the start.

What are your best and worst memories of the adventure?

My best memory is the victories. I am also very happy with the friendships I have created with Meïssa, Ricky and Mégane. We write and call each other every day! The worst memory is my exit. I really didn’t think I would be eliminated so quickly.
