Despite appearances, some actresses maintain a complex relationship with their body. If Virginie Efira let it be known that she was extremely modest in the city, Fanny Ardant agreed to discuss his relationship to the body and nudity, during an interview granted to Gala, to discover this Thursday, January 27 on newsstands. The 72-year-old actress, who will star in the film The young lovers of Carine Tardieu on February 2, explained why she had never been naked in front of a camera : “I have never shown myself naked on screen. It’s a personal thing, I’m not passing judgment, but if for some the relationship to the body is clear and net, for me it is much less“, she explained, before evoking her complexes: “I do not love myself. I don’t like my body“, she confided.

And to continue:Filmed total nudity is too realistic. Suddenly, we consider the body of the other. It is no longer the body of the character, it is that of the actress.Modest, she is on film sets, but also in everyday life.I’m like entangled. When I was young and I went dancing, boys came to invite me, and when I unfolded – I was very tall for my generation – they said to themselves: ‘Oh, what a beard!’“, remembered the one who never married. A size complex, which she never managed to get rid of: “So I would have liked to be uninhibited, but I remained in a labyrinth“, admitted the actress.
