EXCLUDED. Florence Foresti: “Sometimes I need antidepressants to survive”

For her first series, Désordre, Florence Foresti decided to talk about her anxieties. In the columns of Télé Star, the comedian explains that he is “afraid of dying all the time”.

Disorder. This is the surprising title that Florence Foresti chose for the series that she produced and which features her in the writing of one of her shows. “I like this word because I like disobedience and I like this medical term ‘trouble disorder’ in English”, explained the comedian in an interview to find this Monday, September 26 in the columns of Télé Star. In this series, Florence Foresti embodies a troubled character and gives a very important place… to the character of anxiety! “It’s a bias to show what it’s like to live with the fear of dying all the timeadds Florence Foresti, who has been fighting for years against anxieties. This character embodies my anxiety disorders. He sticks to my tail.”

With this series, Florence Foresti does not necessarily intend to lift the veil on her life. “I don’t want people to know me at all. I just hope to make those who suffer from anxiety disorders feel guilty, adds the comedian in our columns. Let’s be indulgent with our mental illnesses! Maybe if I show that sometimes I need antidepressants to survive, that will help the sick.” Since her earliest childhood, Florence Foresti has suffered from extreme anxiety. “I wanted to talk about this because it’s a disease that a lot of people suffer from and then often they don’t dare to treat themselves. You have to treat yourself otherwise you isolate yourself and you end up locked up at homeshe confided in C à vous. The funniest way I found to do it was to have it played by an actor. My discomfort, it is embodied by an actor.

Florence Foresti: “The scene saved me”

In the columns of Psychology, Florence Foresti returned to the beginnings of her anxieties. Initially, my goal was to overcome my panic attacks, I was not making a scene yet. I was working in an office as a graphic designer and I started having panic attacks that literally made it impossible for me to live. I was 20 years old, she remembered. When I say that the scene saved me, it’s a bit romantic but not wrong. I understood that playing a character was the only way to evacuate the anguish of death, the anxiety. In Désordre, Florence Foresti responds to Béatrice Facquer, Laëtitia Vercken, Anouk Féral, Clément Bresson and Eric Bougnon.
