Friday March 11, 2022, Amazon Prime Video will add to its catalog the film I Love America, in which Sophie Marceau plays a single person in search of love in Los Angeles. For Télé Star, the actress gave a nod to her previous love stories.
Revealed at the age of 14 in the film The partySophie Marceau grew up in front of the camera. After LOLin 2008 and An encounterin 2014, the actress renewed her confidence in Lisa Azuelos for the film I love America available from March 11, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video. In the latter, the pretty brunette plays a bachelor who decides to drop everything to go in search of love in Los Angeles. In an interview given to TV StarSophie Marceau said: “To compose my character, we talked a lot together about abandonment, the fear of love, the difficulty of getting attached to others, the fact of not feeling accomplished. To go through the trials of life with the tools at our disposal. All of this resonates with me.“
In a relationship for almost two years with the theater producer Richard Caillat, the actress believes that in her fifties, we can still dream of great love. “Anything can happen at 50, provided you don’t have too many burdens on your shoulders, understand past mistakes and know where you are“, she revealed. Asked about dating sites, Sophie Marceau dropped: “You see me on a dating site, honestly? If I hadn’t been Sophie Marceau, would I have gone to a dating site? A priori, this is not the thing that excites me! Afterwards, it is possible to find love on the networks! It depends on what you’re looking for. What matters is not to withdraw into oneself. There really are people, even very coveted ones, who suffer from loneliness.“

In his latest film, the actress talks about sex in a very raw way. For TV Star, she indicated not to speak so frontally in life. “I am a very modest person, I rather use chastised words“, she revealed before completing her remarks by adding: “I like to talk about it freely and laugh about it in general, but talking about my sexuality with others? Out of the question ! It’s too intimate.“
