EXCLUDED. Laurent Ruquier: “With Léa Salamé, we were never friends”

Since his departure from France Télévisions, Laurent Ruquier does not seem to be particularly on good terms with his former colleague from On est en direct, Léa Salamé. In an interview with Télé Star this Monday, October 10, the host even revealed that they had never been “friends”.

Since September 24, Lea Salame is back on the antenna of France 2. The journalist indeed hosts a new talk show every Saturday, entitled Quelle époque!. A program that replaces that of Laurent Ruquier, We are live. Indeed, after two years of good and loyal service, the host has decided to retire to take time for himself. He also entrusted to have been too often “frustrated” to share the antenna with the journalist from France Inter.

And since this departure, the atmosphere seems to be a little icy between the two former acolytes. However, during a press conference to present her new show, Léa Salamé wanted to make things clear: “I do not replace Laurent Ruquier, he is irreplaceable. We haven’t spoken since the France Télévisions conference in early July. I think I’ll let some time pass, and I’ll write to him afterwards. We tried to get him to change his mind, but to no avail.”she had indicated, specifying however that no tension had appeared between them.
