On the occasion of his big comeback as Alex Hugo on France 3, Samuel le Bihan confided in one of our journalists and gave news of his daughter, Angia, who suffers from autism.
Tuesday, January 25 at 9:10 p.m., Alex Hugo will be back on France 3 to the delight of fans of the detective series. Samuel le Bihan, his interpreter, for the occasion answered questions from one of our journalists and spoke, among other things, about his daughter, Angia.
10 years old, Angia was diagnosed with autism at 22 months. Samuel le Bihan very quickly publicized his fight in order to support other parents in his case and also created a dedicated platform.
“She made me understand that I could be a brave person”
When our journalist asks Samuel le Bihan if autism could one day be a subject treated by the series Alex Hugo of which he is the main actor, the person concerned spoke of his daily actions regarding the neurodevelopmental disorder from which his daughter suffers: “I did not think about it. On autism, I’m doing my part. I set up Autisme Info Service, a platform for calls, listening, advice, follow-up of very specialized files with specialists. I also wrote stories like Don’t worry I’m here, which we put together with France Télévisions.”
The actor then gave more than encouraging news from Angia: “She has progressed a lot. She is very sunny. She has a great career.” before adding: “I have oriented my whole life to be there for her. She made me understand something that I don’t dislike: that I could be a brave person. I made choices, and to choose is to give up.”
Samuel le Bihan also took the opportunity to formalize his relationship with model Stefania Cristian, “a wonderful person” of which it is said “lover” and who he lives with “a really great story”.
And we wish them the best.
An interview to be found in full in your Télé Star, this Monday, January 17.
