This Friday August 19 episode of Un si grand soleil was marked by the death of Myriam Lévy. His interpreter Pauline Paolini, who has been part of the adventure for two years, confided in her departure to Télé Star.
Sad days for fans of Un si grand soleil since the episode of Friday 19, available since yesterday on Salto and broadcast this evening on France 2, marked the death of an emblematic character of the series. Myriam Lévy, new director of the company L Cosmétiques and girlfriend of Marc (César Méric) is indeed found dead at the end of the episode, without anyone knowing who is responsible for this tragedy. The actress Pauline Paolini, who plays Myriam since her arrival in the series, returned for Télé Star on the death of her character and especially on the reasons for his departure. “It was a choice on my part to leave” she explained, before adding: “I wanted to leave time for other projects on the side”. Pauline Paolini therefore knew that Myriam was going to be killed, “but the way she died kinda surprised me” she confessed. The actress also clarified that she knows who killed Myriam, but that she obviously can’t say anything about it…
Despite a surprising death, Pauline Paolini is satisfied of his time spent in Un si grand soleil. “From the beginning, the screenwriters have written great things for Myriam, it has been a great journey to do. She had a great run and finally, isn’t it the irony of life to be cut off mid-flight? I think that’s what the writers wanted to do, and I find it quite interesting.”. Especially since Myriam’s death will open the door to a new ark that promises to be fascinating. “They did something quite dramatic to mark the occasion, it will also give play to the other characters, namely a police investigation around it. And that’s what is always interesting, the fact that a story hire another”.
Myriam will return in flashbacks
Regulars of soap operas know it, it is not because a character is dead that he disappears completely from the series, and they sometimes come back in the form of dreams or hallucinations. Can we then expect Myriam to return in the rest of the series? “Without revealing everything, there will be some flashbacks between Myriam and Claire (Mélanie Maudran, editor’s note), but these are things that have already been shot. Afterwards, once a character is gone, he’s gone, so I don’t think I’ll come back to the series.“replied Pauline Paolini. However, the actress does not regret her departure, except for one thing. “I was very spoiled over the two years of filming that I had, with great characters, very nice plots. The only regret I have is not being part of this team anymore, not seeing the road buddies who were there for two years.”.
