LNegotiations are intensifying around government measures intended to protect the purchasing power of the French against inflation. According to our information, the executive is close to a compromise with the Republican deputies, who do not want to hear about its fuel allowance for low-income French people using their car to go to work. The provision is included in the amending finance bill (PLFR), whose examination in plenary session was scheduled for Thursday morning but which could be delayed as the examination of the text on purchasing power drags on in the hemicycle.
