It may be one of the last great matches for Michel Platini. Exceptional guest on the Europe 1 Sport program, broadcast on Friday from 8 p.m., the former UEFA president says he wants to see football be part of Unesco’s timeless heritage. “I have to find something that fascinates me, and I think it’s something great. I’m working on it,” says the eternal number 10 of the France team at the microphone of Europe 1.

“Promote” football

More than a wish, Michel Platini explains that he is currently working in this direction. “It’s a philosophy. And for that, you have to work. I’m working with the sports faculty of the city of Marseille to move forward because it’s something that is a little complicated,” underlines- he does. If the ex-president of UEFA agrees that it is a gesture of a mad lover, of a football fan, Michel Platini highlights “the promotion” of this sport.

“When we put something in the timeless heritage of Unesco, it’s because we want to protect it. And that’s where it gets complicated. That’s why I’m working on it”, advance the former player, ready to play one of his last “big matches”. “I could do others, but after that I would have to find a team”, finally loose Michel Platini, without revealing his possible future projects.
