EXCLUSIVE-The boss of BNP Paribas’ prime services activities leaves his post-sce

LONDON, July 21 (Reuters) – BNP Paribas head of prime services Ashley Wilson has resigned from his post, a source familiar with the matter has told Reuters.

Ashley Wilson, who was not immediately available to comment on the information, joined the French bank in June last year.

This resignation constitutes an important departure for these activities which work mainly with alternative funds (hedge funds) and which BNP has significantly developed since 2019 after the acquisition that year of the ‘global prime finance’ activities of the German bank Deutsche Bank.

The operation resulted in the transfer to BNP Paribas of 900 people.
