EXCLUSIVE VIDEO – Grégoire: how the death of his brothers turned his life upside down


Grégoire was confronted with the tragic death of his two brothers Ludovic and Nicolas. The first died in 2002 in a car accident, while the other killed himself in 2007. tragic losses that turned his life upside down. In an exclusive extract that Gala was able to obtain, the artist explains, facing Bernard Montiel, how the death of his two brothers impacted his life. After the death of his brothers, Grégoire decided to getting into music even though some thought his dream was impossible.

Because the pain of these disappearances there “released”, using it “like a force who gave him “allowed us to go even further”. Not wanting to lock himself into a life that would not suit him, he therefore decided to “to go all the way [son] dream”. By testifying, the artist therefore wishes to send a message to those who are lucky enough to be spared pain. During this interview, Grégoire also gave news of Jean-Jacques Goldman. After collaborating together, the two men maintain an epistolary relationship full of advice and kindness. And, Grégoire knows that he can count on the interpreter of Over there. “Even on questions of life in general, he is still someone who has always a fair, objective answer…And I like his way of living. He helped me with all that.”, confides Grégoire to Bernard Montiel. Before adding: “IHe taught me a lot about workin his writing, in his texts, in his way of using simple words for complicated emotions […] and even on a human level, his way of seeing life is something I tend towards.”
