We visited the winner Annina (39) at home.
She tells how the profit helps her on her way to her dream job.
The single mother Annina (39) could hardly believe her luck when she found out that she had won a month’s rent. “That was better than Christmas and a birthday together!”
Annina lives with her two teenage children in an apartment building in Winterthur. «The apartment was a stroke of luck. When we applied for it, we didn’t have that much hope that we would get it. ” When they were accepted, they were overjoyed. «The location is perfect. We live centrally and yet close to nature. ” But the rent puts a strain on the family’s budget.
Profit helps on the way to the dream job
She studies social work part-time. «I became a mother at an early age and had to postpone my professional career a little. Social worker has always been my dream job. “
Annina is currently working as a day care center manager. She can finish her studies shortened because she is already a trained social worker. “I was only able to complete this training because I was supported by foundations. But I wrote to over 120 foundations for this. ” Annina does not receive any scholarships for her Bachelor studies, so she will have less income for the next two years. “We are all the more pleased, of course, about the extra help with the rent.”
