Earlier this year, again during a State of Play, Capcom had announced a new license with dinosaurs, which will unfortunately have nothing to do with Dino Crisis. This well named Exoprimal will focus on multiplayer confrontations in 5v5 in third person in an arena, with objectives pvp and PvE, the latter pitting players aboard their exoskeleton against hordes of dinos. He showed up again last night during the Capcom Showcasethe opportunity to learn more about what he intends to offer us.
The trailer sets the tone by clearly erecting the AI Leviathan as the antagonist causing the dinosaur appearances by the wormholeswhich will appear before us either in the form of a giant humanoid or via a drone lookout. The end of the video tease even a sizeable enemy baptized Neo T-Rex ! The developers then presented game mode Dino Survival where you have to complete missions before the opposing team. Among the objectives that can be proposed to us, there will be I’Eliminationthe protection of an aircraft in Defense of VTOLof the’Escort of a data cube, theOmega Assault where it will be necessary to destroy our enemies with big hammer and finally the Energy harvesting.
The experience promises to be varied and will evolve according to our progress. Besides, from theXP will be granted to us by playing, a system which will be detailed later. We will even sometimes be forced to cooperate with the other team to overcome a major threat at 10 vs 1. On the side of the exoskeletons, the Barrage will be preferred for assaults, while the Vigilant will be more focused on ranged clashes using his electric cannon.
