Exoprimal: Capcom’s dinosaur hunting game reveals its story in video

Capcom doesn’t have a lot of games to show us for this Tokyo Game Show, but it still intends to make a splash with the few titles in its catalog. Less popular than street fighter 6, Exoprimal was still very present during Capcom Showcase and even during the Xbox conference of the Japanese show, with in particular a new trailer which tells us a little more about the history of the game, because yes, the game will obviously have something else to tell us about hunting big dinos.

The AI that goes wrong

This trailer therefore focuses on presenting the threat that we will have to face thanks to our state-of-the-art exoskeletons. We will be immersed in 2040 when time distortions appear in the cities with dinosaurs invading the streets.

An artificial intelligence has been created against this scourge and allows warriors in armor to train for combat, except that lack of luck, the AI will derail (as in all works of science fiction). This artificial intelligence named Leviathan seeks at all costs to create more powerful exoskeletons, which means that until its goal is achieved, the simulations will continue. It will therefore be necessary to find a way to stop the distortions as well as Leviathan.

Exoprimal is expected for 2023 with no release date yet. It should be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
