If you don’t know the universe yet MudRunnerknow that we could roughly compare it to Death Stranding, in the sense that all the fun lies in crossing inhospitable expanses using vehicles ad hoc and a good dose of elbow grease. The similarities end there. Expeditions propose to survey “from arid deserts to rugged forests to rugged mountains” through scientific explorations aimed at unraveling the mysteries of the environment.
Meeting in unknown land
To carry out our quest for knowledge, we will have to manage our base camp and strengthen our scientific staff, which will unlock gadgets and skills that will facilitate our exploration. Saber mentions, for example, echo sounders to assess the depth of waterways, or the use of anchor points to climb the most aggressive drops. We will also be able to deploy a reconnaissance drone with many uses: metal detector, topographic scanner, HD camera, and maybe even a percolator if we are lucky!
