For its new AirPods Pro 2, Apple wants 299 euros. For the first time, the earbuds now also have the option of attaching a small wrist strap to the case. Although it only weighs 4.5 grams, the accessory is not a bargain.
AirPods Pro 2: Small wrist strap costs 14.95 euros
Along with the iPhone 14 range, Apple also has those second generation of its AirPods Pro presented. There are a few differences compared to the predecessor – and for the first time the supplied case has a small cut-out. If necessary, a carrying strap can be attached here in order to be able to carry the case on the wrist, for example. It is also possible to attach the case to a backpack using the integrated clip on the loop.
The mini accessory for the AirPods Pro 2 weighs only 4.54 grams, but Apple would like to have it in its own online store for the product a whole 14.95 euros have (source: Apple). That’s 3.29 euros per gram. Apple has not revealed what material is used for the carrying strap. The group does not give its customers a lot of choice either, because only a dark version of the loop is offered.
If 14.95 euros is a bit too much, it’s worth taking a look at Third Party Products. Similar loops in all possible colors and lengths are already available for 3.69 euros (view at Amazon).
