The photo signature can be obtained in a photo booth or from an approved photographer.
An administrative and medical procedure
Although the list of steps to follow to renew your license remains short, certain categories of license require a specific procedure. For license categories C or D (heavy goods vehicles), a medical examination is required. It includes physical, sensory and cognitive tests performed by a licensed physician. The latter fills out the administrative form Cerfa n° 14880 and determines whether the driver is fit, unfit, or requires temporary fitness. The doctor’s decision can be contested before a medical commission.
