Ukraine attacked an aviation training center in the western Russian region of Voronezh with drones during the night. According to Ukrainian media, the impacts caused “significant damage to the main production hall” of the teaching center in the city of Borisoglebsk.
Ukrainian military intelligence has already claimed responsibility for the attack. Russian media, however, only reported broken windows and minor damage to the facade. The reports cannot be independently verified.
In the published videos, explosions can be heard and firelight can be seen in the distance. The Russian Defense Ministry reported only two drones shot down over the region. The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, confirmed the drone attack and the downing by anti-aircraft defense.
There were no deaths or injuries to be complained about. He wrote on his Telegram channel that it still needs to be checked whether there was any damage to the ground.
