The leaks in the two Nord Stream pipelines discovered in the Baltic Sea on Monday were probably caused by explosions. This is indicated by observations and initial assessments by seismologists. For this reason, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have already said that the leaks are probably the result of acts of sabotage.
