Express Christmas log: our gourmet recipe in 15 minutes flat: Femme Actuelle Le MAG


It's Christmas already! The guest responsible for bringing back the dessert canceled at the last minute? Don't panic, we have the solution! Out of the question to finish the Christmas meal without a dessert to match. Quickly put on your apron, leave your guests for 15 minutes and prepare them an express, delicious and easy to make yule log. It's your turn !

The ingredients to prepare the express Yule log recipe

To prepare a Yule log in 15 minutes flat, you need:

  • 300 g butter
  • 600 g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon of diluted soluble coffee
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 200 g of speculoos
  • Bitter cocoa

The steps in preparing the express Yule log

Step 1 : melt the chocolate with the butter cut into pieces.

2nd step : mix with a spatula until you obtain a smooth cream.

Step 3: whip the icing sugar and eggs.

Step 4: off the heat add the icing sugar and the eggs mixed with the chocolate butter mixture.

Step 5: add half a teaspoon of diluted soluble and mix well.

Step 6: crush the speculoos and add them to the preparation, mix.

(You can replace the speculoos with meringue pieces.)

Step 7: pour into a mold lined with baking paper.

Step 8: reserve your chocolate log in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

Step 9: turn out the terrine on a serving platter.

Step 10: sprinkle with cocoa powder, decorate with a Santa Claus.
