Extended “C dans l’air”, new media program… What changes for France TV at the start of the school year?

Louise Bernard and Solene Delinger

If TF1 and M6 have not announced major changes for next season, France Télévisions is opting for the opposite strategy. The public audiovisual group is organizing its press conference on Wednesday July 6 to present its new program schedules, partly unveiled by “Le Parisien”.

The France Télévisions press conference takes place on Wednesday but the newspaper The Parisian already reveals some changes to come. Starting with the return of Caroline Roux: her show C in the air is lengthened. It takes up the square before, that of That is to say?!program which stops after 15 years on the air.

Thomas Sotto replaces Caroline Roux for her morning interview

The journalist should also resume the political program of France 2, in place of Léa Salamé. Direct consequence: Caroline Roux would therefore stop her morning interview, the 4V and it is Thomas Sotto who would replace it, while maintaining the presentation of Telematin.

The Parisian also announces the arrival of a new program on France 5. A one-hour media program with “reports, investigations and interviews on set”. It will be every Sunday at midday. Another novelty: prime times on France 3 around craftsmen who export their know-how around the world: The ambassadors of French excellence.

Two new programs for Laurent Ruquier

An evening also to celebrate the 30th anniversary of France Télévisions, next September. With a documentary called The great saga of France Télévisions. Finally, The Parisian unveils Laurent Ruquier’s projects: he will test two prime time shows next fall: Everything makes us singwhere singers, comedians or imitators will perform titles related to current events, and then a second creation: Today like yesterday, who will talk about “current cultural or social facts, through the prism of archive images”. This program is co-produced with Thierry Ardisson.
