The actor plays a secondary role in this adaptation of the novel of the same name by Pierre Lemaître, winner of the Goncourt Prize in 2013, which takes place after the First World War and tells how two survivors of the trenches, one a genius designer, the other a modest accountant , decide to set up a war memorial scam.

Five Césars were awarded to this film (including Best Director) thanks to which Albert Dupontel follows in the footsteps of Jean-Pierre Jeunet (who directed him in A Long Sunday Engagement), and offers Laurent Lafitte the role of villain of a story which more than seduced the public.

Of the 1,280 reviews posted on AlloCiné since its release, 567 have a maximum rating of 5 out of 5. That’s a little less than half. The film not only did not disappoint me, but I really liked it, it’s very spectacular, it’s touching, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.”

Whatever the prism chosen to analyze the film, Goodbye there appears to be a success

A definitive (and poetic) text, to say the least, which is accompanied by this signed sentence Miltiadeswhich appears to be a perfect summary of the most positive opinions on the feature film: “Whatever prism you choose to analyze the film, Goodbye there appears to be a success.”

From the sets to the costumes, including the subject and its treatment, the direction of Albert Dupontel or the acting of the actors, the ensemble seems to have put stars in the eyes of its most won over spectators. And there are many of them given its average on AlloCiné.

And you ? What did you think of Goodbye up there?
