We admit – when we saw the eyeshadow hack, we were a bit skeptical. We regularly use a wide variety of brushes for our eye make-up. But as the video proves, there is not just one way to create the perfect eyeshadow look.

Eye shadow hack: You need these utensils to make your eye make-up a success

Instead of many different brushes, you only need a few utensils for the hack to create a beautiful eyeshadow look. In the first step, you grab the eyeshadow palette of your choice and choose two colors that harmonize with each other. You are completely free in the choice of the color group, because both more natural and brighter colors work great with the eyeshadow hack. It is best to have something to remove make-up and a few cotton swabs ready to use if you cannot apply the eyeshadow precisely enough.

Last but not least, grab a clean beauty sponge that doesn’t leave any makeup residue on it. This avoids unsightly stains in eye make-up.

Away with the brushes: Perfect eyeshadow look thanks to Beauty Sponge

Now go with your Beauty Sponge in the two eyeshadow colors of your choice. It is important that the colors on the sponge do not completely overlap, but rather are placed next to each other. The lighter color points in the direction of the inner corner of the eye – this is the only way to get a beautiful blended color gradient on the lid, which opens the eyes and thus visually enlarges them. Now carefully dab your Beauty Sponge with the eyeshadow colors on your eyelid. You repeat this process until the two colors have combined nicely.

Glitter eyeshadow rounds off the make-up look

In the last step we add some glitter eyeshadow to our eye makeup. Find a suitable shade in your eyeshadow palette and pick it up with the tip of the beauty sponge. This enables a more precise application, as the area at the inner corner of the eye is significantly smaller than the movable lid. Apply the eyeshadow by dabbing again on your inner corner of the eye and blend the glittering color with the already applied eyeshadow. When you are satisfied with the veneer, you can use a little make-up remover and a cotton swab to remove excess eyeshadow and bring your eye make-up into shape. Now just apply a little mascara and et voilà – your perfect eyeshadow look is done like a professional.
