Eyebrow Angel: Almost everyone does it wrong

Gel, pomade, pen, micropencil, powder, … should we continue? The selection of eyebrow products is now almost as large as the yogurt counter in the supermarket. It is logical that we cannot know exactly how to apply each product. We asked the Queen of Eyebrows and founder of the brand Anastasia Beverly Hills for advice in an interview.

As we chat about eyebrows, do's and don'ts, she emphasizes that she applies eyebrow angels from the middle of the eyebrow to the end of the brows. Wait a moment? Why only from the middle? We of course immediately asked:

That would be too hard. At the beginning of the eyebrows you should always have less product than in the rest of the brows.

Aha! That explains a lot. So if you've ever wondered where the two bars on your face come from at once. Here is the answer. If you also want to use tinted brow gel at the front, Anastasia advises you to brush the product well.

At least one centimeter of the eyebrow should be lighter than the rest. Brushing out the product fades the color somewhat, making the result appear softer.

If you have gaps in the front, you can even trace individual hairs with a tinted gel. To do this, you simply use a beveled brush and take up some gel. Anastasia even showed us how, using the Dip Brow Gel. It is waterproof and dries matt. Anastasia Beverly Hills products are available exclusively from Douglas.

By the way: with a transparent gel, the situation is actually very similar. Again, you should first brush through from the middle to the end of the brows so that you don't have too much product at the front. Otherwise the hair can stick together quickly and appear greasy. And honestly, we definitely don't want that.
