F1 22: more VR aboard Stroll’s Aston Martin in Montreal

It is at the very beginning of next month that will be launched F1 22new racing game from Codemasters and EA Games. If you have to do without a scenario like in the previous opus, fans will be able to experience for the first time a mode VR to drive single-seaters in virtual realityonly on PC.

The mode VR was already covered in detail in a very recent dev diary, but the devs are already back with a trailer for gameplay. A video published on the occasion of the Montreal Grand Prix of this weekend, towards the Gilles Villeneuve circuit aboard theAston Martin AM22 by Lance Stroll to discover VR this 4.36 km route all the same. Lee Mather, senior creative director of F1 at the house of Codemastersadds:

VR is revolutionizing F1 22 on PC and taking the race weekend to a whole new level. From the claustrophobia felt while sitting in the cockpit to the intensity caused by the lights going out as 20 cars accelerate towards the first corner. You’ll never feel so close to an F1 race off the track.

F1 22 release date set for July 1, 2022 on PC, but also on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, you can pre-order it at €59.99 on Amazon.
