Codemasters and Electronic Arts try to stick as close as possible to reality with F1 22, but they allow themselves a few small liberties. Players already have access to all the circuits of the calendar for this 2022 season, but the studios will add two tracks, and the first will arrive tomorrow.
This Tuesday, August 2, players will thus be able to rediscover theAutodromo Internacional do Algarvethe Portimao circuit in Portugal which has been on the calendar for the past two years. A layout that suits Lewis Hamilton perfectly, who won the two previous editions and which takes us virtually on a tour of the circuit aboard his Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 in a new trailer. Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director of F1 at the house of Codemastersadds:
We know our players love the excitement of competing on more circuits, and there’s nothing better than Portimao. Portimao is highly regarded and has an incredible history, and our players will love the challenge of driving the 2022-designed cars around the hallowed circuit for the first time.
And it’s not over, because Codemasters already announces that the circuit of China will also be introduced in F1 22 on September 12with another free update.
