Codemasters And EA Games launch today F1 23, their new officially licensed racing game FIA. A title that marks the introduction of new features such as the Precision Drivebut also the return of the scripted mode Breaking Point 2 and the introduction of the new Las Vegas circuit.

Thanks to F1 World, we are bringing even more players closer this season, offering new challenges and adapted throughout the 2023 season, as well as a new security system designed to promote healthy and respectful multiplayer competition. Flashpoint 2 continues the story of the career of young pilot Aidan Jackson and his nemesis Devon Butler. In this chapter, the two men become teammates in the brand new Konnersport Butler Racing Team, but an up-and-coming driver, Callie Mayer, the first woman to win the F2 world championship, awaits them in the wings to try her luck. luck in the glamorous world of Formula 1. With so much at stake, decisions and actions on and off the track will determine the level of performance and reputation, unlocking bonus goals and rewards throughout two trying seasons.
F1 World is a central part of the F1 23 single and multiplayer experience, allowing drivers to get more involved in their favorite sport through daily, weekly and seasonal content linked to the real-world calendar. This new hub helps new players get acquainted with the world of Formula 1, offering them challenges to improve their skills before setting off for the podium. F1 World includes well-known modes, such as Grand Prix and Time Trial, and features a new progression system that unlocks car upgrades, liveries, racing suits and helmets. It also allows for better social interactions thanks to the new safety rating system, which fosters a competitive yet fair racing environment by bringing together like-minded riders. The revamped ranked mode is based on cars of equal performance, so the skills of the drivers are highlighted through a division system including promotions and relegations.
In response to player feedback, 35% Race Distance, previously only available in the Formula 1 Esports Series and Red Flags are now available, adding more strategy to the race weekend. In addition to the 23 circuits of the 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, which include real life updates taking into account the current season, F1 23 includes three additional circuits, Paul Ricard (France), Shanghai (China) and Portimão (Portugal), available for F1 and F2 events. The game also includes fan-favorite modes including Career, My Stable, and vastly improved leagues, accessible through EA Racenet, which allow players to create, join, schedule, and manage custom multiplayer championships.
F1 23 Champions Edition is also available and features reigning World Champion and EA Sports Ambassador Max Verstappen for the first time as the game’s unique cover star. This digital-only edition comes with the Max Verstappen racing apparel, Flashpoint 2 icon and cosmetic pack, next-gen console upgrades at no additional cost*, XP boost, bumper pack F1 World, 18,000 PitCoin and four new “My Stable” icons, Nigel Mansell, Jamie Chadwick, Pastor Maldonado and Kamui Kobayashi.
To celebrate the launch of the game and McLaren’s 60th anniversary, players can participate in a special F1 World event and earn the McLaren Triple Crown motif for their F1 World car. This design is inspired by a special livery that the team presented at the Monaco Grand Prix and which symbolizes its greatest achievements in motorsport. Many more events with special rewards aligning with the real-world calendar will follow in the coming months.
