F1 24the racing and simulation game ofEA Games And Codemasters, obviously intends to be as close as possible to reality. This goes through the gameplaygraphics, but also artificial intelligence, based on driver ratings, intended to reflect their skills on the circuit.
Like every year, grid drivers discover their scores on boards in the paddock, with here a little game where the members of each team must guess their teammate’s scores. Not everyone has a sharp nose, but all the drivers seem pleased with their overall score, especially Max Verstappen who gets a 96 at the launch of F1 24. Improvements made to theAston Martin allow Fernando Alonso to be second, the oldest of the grid still has resources under his feet! For his part, Logan Sargent will have a lot to do to no longer be last (and keep his seat next season…). Here are all the notes:

- Experience (EXP) : the number of races contested by a driver during his career.
- Aptitude (APT) : the driver’s ability to overtake his opponents and finish the race in a better place than the one he occupied at the start.
- Reaction (REA) : the cleaner the race and the fewer penalties, the higher the score.
- Rhythm (RYT) : a mixture of the best times achieved by the driver during qualifying and during the race. This rating also takes into account the driver’s results compared to his teammate.
- Overall rating (NOT) : the combination of the four previous notes. This overall rating varies throughout the season depending on the driver’s performance.
As a reminder, the drivers’ ratings will evolve throughout the season, depending on the drivers’ performances during past and future races, but it will be difficult to dislodge the three-time Dutch World Champion.
